After showing you the very first customer-owned 2014 Corvette Stingray running the quarter mile earlier this week, time has come to have a look at the first seven-speed manual Vette while being put to good work on the drag strip.
Owned by Lashway Motorsports and churning 455 HP and 460 lb-ft of torque, this manual 2014 Corvette Stingray takes 12.47 seconds to run the 402 strip and crosses the line at 116.29 miles per hour (187.15 km/h). It’s a bit slower than Hennessey’s manual Corvette (12.23 seconds, 114 mph), which is a bit strange, but we can clearly see that the car didn’t benefit from the best launch.

Scroll below to have a look at the first manual 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray at the drag strip. Hopefully, more videos and better times will follow.
