We won't see the newly unveiled 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray in dealerships until later this year, but we already have the first recorded accident involving GM's latest sportscar on a public road.
The image you can see above, and which really breaks our hearts, was posted on Digital Corvettes by forum member "gpetry". He claims to have received it from "a friend in Arizona", last week, with the following explanation.
"Driving through some mountains in Arizona about 30 minutes ago. In some tight switchbacks when we passed this '14 Vette. Cop had just arrived. Car is in worse shape than looks. Hit guardrail on left and bounced back to rocks."
Ouch! Car is in worse shape that it looks is right and considering the way it climbed on the rocks we can only assume that the C7 Corvette wasn't traveling at a low speed.
There's no information about who was driving the car, but we're pretty sure this has to do with the blue Corvettes Spotted in Arizona we were showing you a while back.
