The Cowardly Lion needs courage, the Scarecrow needs a brain and the Tin Man needs a heart. So obviously automaker who deal in cold hard steel are always fighting to prove they care.
The very first 2013 SRT Viper to roll off the line will head straight for auction to help with a good cause. The proceeds from an auction that will take place on June 22nd in Orange County, California, will be donated to the Austin Hatcher Foundation for Pediatric Cancer that is supported the Amerfican Le Mans Series.

The person to buy the car will be the very first to own a brand new generation Viper, the first to be built under the SRT brand. This has an all-mighty incarnation of the 8.4-liter V10 that delivers 640 hp and 600 lb-ft (814 Nm) of torque.

"We are thrilled that SRT has chosen us to be a part of this extraordinary opportunity," said Dr. Jim Osborn Co-founder of the Austin Hatcher Foundation. "We are tremendously excited to see the 2013 SRT Viper. It is an amazing vehicle. We are also very excited that the first production Viper be auctioned at Barrett- Jackson Orange County to benefit the many families faced with pediatric cancer. We just can't thank Mr. Gilles and his team enough."

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
