FIM Announces Provisional 2011 MotoGP, Moto2, 125cc Entry Lists

The International Motorcycle Federation (FIM) has this week announced the provisional entry list for the 2011 MotoGP, Moto2 and 125cc series. Taken separately, the MotoGP lists doesn't bring anything new to the table. If anything, it underlines once again that FIAT's ending its sponsorship commitments with Yamaha Racing Team has left the latter part without a title sponsor for the upcoming campaign. In addition, Ducati is also listed with no title sponsor, but not because it ended its relationship with Marlboro (because it didn't), but due to tobacco advertising restrictions. Moving on, the Moto2 entry list is comprised of 38 riders, with important names such as former MotoGP riders Alex de Angelis, Aleix Espargaro or Yuki Takahashi standing out. Finally, the entry list for the 125cc class of the FIM Road Racing World Championship is comprised of 32 riders, with the big novelty (already confirmed by some time) being the debut of Indian bike maker Mahindra. Here are the entire lists, as announced by the FIM. Bear in mind that changes may occur until the season opening Qatar Grand Prix, scheduled to kick off on March 20th. MotoGP
