If you made the mistake of buying a Fiat Punto Abarth the best way to add extra emotive power to it is to have it fitted with a custom sports exhaust. The coolest we've been able to find so far comes from the Germans at Bull-X, who crafted an interesting system with sport catalysts and titanium tips.
The last time the Punto Abarth was updated, back in 2011, it proved that with the right esseesse kit it could produce 160 hp and a maximum torque of 230 Nm. That's respectable for a single-turbo 1.4-liter and enough for a 0 to 100 km/h time of just 7.6 seconds.
Italian cars are supposed to be passionate and focused on their looks above all else. To a degree, the Fiat Punto Abarth is exactly that, but since the hatch it's based on is so boring the overall look is a bit… dry. Most people don't even know Fiat makes this car and even fewer have bought one, which is why our next tuning project is so rare and interesting.
Thinking the 1.4-liter turbo engine has been made better by the Bull-X exhaust? Let us know and also tell us if you think the Punto will ever be as cool as the 500.
