Fiat Connecting with Art in London

The Fiat Group is one of the “must-watch” companies, as it is making one effort after another to strengthen its position on the market, with the moves ranging from huge worldwide financial deals to innovative marketing campaigns. We are here now to talk about an initiative that can be included in the latter category.

For this story, we shall travel to the UK, where Fiat Marylebone, the company’s flagship London dealer, is holding an international art exhibtion. The exhibition, which debuted on February 10 and is scheduled to last for one month, takes advantage of the dealership’s space and interior design. It features artists Daniela Riberio and Valentim Quaresma and uses the Art in Park name - this is an international initiative that supports young artists.

Daniela’s work, linked to the use of technological waste, features 14 bionic eyes made of components from around 2000 mobile phones. They represent the way in which people of the future can connect with the Internet through their own eyes. Valentim also recycles, using everyday objects to transform into award-winning luxury fashion and jewellery items, effectively giving them another life,” stated the press release.

Actors Chris Ellison and Tom Chambers attended the event, receiving an introduction from Daniela and Valentim.

The exhibition will run for a month at the flagship,” said Tony Dittli, managing director, Fiat Marylebone. “It’s part of a global support initiative for young artists and Fiat Marylebone is delighted to be promoting it in London. The bright, modern feel fits perfectly with Fiat’s own brand values.
