Sales figures are in for Fiat-Chrysler USA FCA US LLC as well and they’re looking good, even though the volume isn’t on par with the other two of the so-called Big Three from Detroit Motor City. We don’t want to keep you waiting, so here’s the big one: 2,090,639 vehicles moved in the U S of A.
By comparison, FoMoCo sold 2,480,942 vehicles while General Motors leads the top with almost 3 million passenger and commercial vehicles. If we’re to refer to 2014-over-2013 gains in terms of percentage, FCA US LLC leads with 16 points over its main United States-bound competitors.
If you’re curious about how each FCA US brand fared, it is no surprise that Jeep leads the pack with a whopping 41 percent increase over 2013. After the SUV-specialized marque follows Ram Truck, which boasts with a 28 percent gain. In addition to these, Fiat reported a 7 percent sales increase and Chrysler boasts with just 2 percent.
I know what you’re thinking and you’re right on this one - the Dodge brand is missing from that list because it’s the only FCA US LLC automaker that went in the minus, reporting deliveries of -4 percent compared to the same 12-month period from last year. Moving on to December last year, the Chrysler brand enjoyed a massive 53 hike as Dodge lost 2 percentage points in sales volume.
