Fiat Bravo MSN Special Series Takes a Tour

Italian manufacturer Fiat has announced it will release a new special edition of its Bravo model, intended to show off, in an European charity tour, both the car and navigation systems, the Instant Nav and Blue&Me. Called the Fiat Bravo MSN Special Series, the car was developed together with MSN will cost £13,255.

The Bravo MSN is based on the Bravo 1.4 16V and really no engine or extensive body overhaul have been made to it. The main difference is that it comes fitted with custom-made Sony Ericsson mobile phone technology, which will allow direct access to the MSN portal, as well as with the navigation and communications kit.

The Special Series Bravo will be available in Tempesta Grey pearlescent paint and will ride on 17 inch alloy wheels. Oh, yes, it also has a leather steering wheel.

Starting 26 June, teams consisting of two MSN users and an MSN selected journalist will drive their own routes, equipped with a digital video camera and other communications tools. The teams will converge on Fiat’s Balocco test track from European starting points including Lisbon, Madrid, Berlin, London, Rome and Brussels.

The teams which will achieve the highest fuel economy can win up to 30,000 euros for a charity of their choosing. All teams which will enter the charity tour "may" also be awarded 10,000 euros for their respective charity.

The Bravo Tour is a great way to showcase the new Bravo MSN Special Series, which is an interesting car. And the fact that our chosen charity will also benefit from this makes it an even more worthwhile exercise,” Andrew Humberstone, Fiat Group Automobiles UK managing director said.
It's a refreshing feel to know that Fiat is not all about acquisitions and mergers, isn't it?
