Fiat 500C Abarth Coming to Geneva

We already told you that Abarth will bring its very own version of Punto Evo at the Geneva Motor Show in Switzerland but we've just find out that the brand will also display an upgraded 500C. The first convertible to be launched by the renewed Abarth brand, the 500C, will go on sale in the next few months in both Europe and Japan.

Technical wise, the Abarth 500C is powered by a 1.4-liter engine that develops 140 horsepower at 5,000 rpm and 206 Nm of torque at 2,000 rpm in Sport mode. The transmission system is the Abarth Competizione 5-speed gearbox, specifically optimized to handle the boost of power.

Self-ventilated front discs are also available, as well as 16-inch aluminum alloy wheels offered as standard – 17-inch are only an option.

In terms of performance, the Abarth 500C goes from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.1 seconds and reaches a maximum speed of 205 km/h. Fuel consumption figures are not available yet but Abarth said the car releases 155 grams of CO2 per kilometer.
