Fiat 500 Abarth is already the sportiest version of the 500 lineup but, as we can all find out today, tuning houses around the world can push the 1.4-liter liter beyond its limits. One example is the latest contraption of tuner Karl Schnorr Kraftfahrzeuge who developed two levels of power for the Italian hot hatch.

To get straight to the point, Power Level I upgrades the aforementioned 1.4-liter engine from the standard 99 kW (135 horsepower) to 120 kW (163 horsepower) and 251 Nm of torque. This first stage is offered with a price tag of 950 euros.

Power Level II brings even more power, hence the bigger price - 5,050 euros. The tweaked Fiat 500 Abarth is now capable to develop a maximum power of 147 kW (200 horsepower), mostly thanks to a bigger turbocharger, a new sports exhaust system plus an ECU upgrade.

As for the exterior styling, the car is offered with red aluminum rims sized 7x17 inches and provided by OZ. The rims are worth 1,090 euros, the company said in a release. Additionally, the tuner lowered the body by a few millimeters by installing a new coilover kit priced at 1,270 euros.

Fiat 500 Abarth is a customized flavor of the popular 500 model designed within a partnership between Fiat and Abarth. The two companies modified most components of the car, including engine and design elements such as front bumper and grille, wheels plus exterior mirrors. In terms of performance, the 500 Abarth is powered by a 1.4 16V turbocharged petrol engine capable of developing a maximum power of 135 bhp at 5,000 rpm combined with a torque of 206 Nm at 3,000 rpm.
