Ferrari Website Now Available in Japanese

Ferrari.com now has a Japanese version. This is the website’s third language, learned in one year, as its current generation has been launched last year in both English and Italian.

By offering this dedicated online tool, the company is showing its respect for Japanese customers and enthusiasts. The supercar maker want to develop a direct relation to the Japanese public, as the people there have already showed great enthusiasm for the marque. This is not just a translation, as a bespoke video has been created to greet Japanese users. The video introduces visitors to the site’s content and more importantly includes a welcome meeting in Japanese from Ferrari employees, Chairman Luca Di Montezemolo, CEO Amedeo Felisa and GES director Stefano Domenicali.

One of the site’s other interesting features is a virtual tour of the entire company through footage and images.

To further demonstrate Ferrari’s recognition of Asia’s values, the company has stated that a Chinese version of the website is now being constructed. Couldn’t they wait at least a little bit longer to make that announcement, in order to make the Japanese people feel special?

Japan has always been a very important playground for Ferrari’s grown men toys. The Italian company has had a presence there ever since 1965. In 2008, Ferrari Japan was opened in order to meet the client’s demands. Today, there are five Ferrari dealerships in Japan, located in Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka, Hiroshima and Fukuoka. The sixth is due to be inaugurated this spring. The Ferrari Owner’s club in Japan has over 600 members and the country also has many collectors.

Why think that some of Ferrari’s cars should really be worried by this news? What if the Nissan GTR reads it, understands Ferrari’s ways and uses them against the Prancing Horse, in pure Aikido style?
