Ferrari Star Parade Shuts Down Traffic in Valencia

Italian carmaker Ferrari will celebrate the end of the 2009 motorsport season with its fans in Spain. Between November 12 and 15, the Ricardo Tormo Circuit in Valencia will host the next Ferrari World Finals. As a preview of what will happen during the four days at the Ferrari World Finals, fans will be able to admire a parade of the Prancing Horse cars in Valencia today.

In fact, the main road in the city center will be shut down for traffic. Leading the motorcade will be the F2008, the Constructors' Championship car from 2008, driven by Marc Gené, the official test driver of the Team from Maranello.

Following the F2008 will be latest model from Ferrari, the 458 Italia, but also a California, a 599 GTB Fiorano, a 612 Scaglietti, a F430 Challenge, a F430 GT2 from the international Gran Turismo Championship and one FXX, the laboratory car from the development program with the same name.

After the parade on Paseo de la Alameda, the cars will stop in Plaza del Ayuntamiento, so Spanish fans can get a closer look of the Ferrari machines.

During the World Finals the decisive races for the F430 in the Italian, European and North-American Ferrari Challenge Pirelli Trophy series will be held, while also the historical cars of the Shell Ferrari Historic Challenge will go onto the track for their final race.

As usual, the single-seaters from Maranello's F1 Clienti department, the laboratory cars from the exclusive FXX program and the F430 GTs can also be seen on the track.
