Previewed last year at the Geneva Motor Show by the Pininfarina Sergio Concept, the radical one-off turned into a limited-run Ferrari model. As it was expected, there are a few aesthetic differences between the concept vehicle from 2013 and the Ferrari Sergio.
After a bit of redesigning, the Prancing Horse’s design team finished the Sergio and the photo gallery below features the first ever example of the breed. The first Ferrari Sergio was delivered today to SBH Royal Auto Gallery, which is located in the UAE.

Arab Emirates. It is currently displayed on the Yas Marina Circuit’s grounds, the place where the so-called Finali Mondiali Ferrari evens are held. This highly desirable stallion is just one of six units that will ever be made.

Ferrari says that all have been spoken for, each commanding €3 million ($3.9 million)

The Ferrari Sergio is underpinned by the 458 Speciale, which holds a base price of €238,000 ($298,000). The cabin design is virtually the same aside from a plaque reading “Sergio”. In addition to that, there’s the same 605 horsepower and 540 Nm (398 lb-ft) of torque 4.5-liter naturally aspirated V8 mounted in the middle, which begs the question how can the Sergio cost so much and who would buy it?

You know those people that buy Ferrari branded goods, even though most apparel is extremely overpriced and utter BS? Well, that buying habit applies to cars as well, which is why Ferrari will gladly rip your bank account off for a revamped 458 Speciale Aperta. If you want to learn more about the vehicle that pays homage to Sergio Pininfarina, then check out the release below.

Take everything with a grain of salt though ‘cos you’ll read a lot of overzealous Italianisms.
