Ferrari is still proud of their F1 heritage, so proud in fact that on a number of occasions they've tried to deliver F1 cars for the road. Some became legendary while others were too harsh, but "F1" and "Ferrari" are almost synonymous.
The house of Maranello has announced their new F1 car for the 2013 season will be known as the F138. The name is a combination of the current year and the number of cylinders, partly to mark the fact that this will be the last year that the V8 engine configuration will be used in Formula 1.

The new race car will be unveiled tomorrow, February 1st, in Maranello. After that, it will begin its shakedowns at the hand of last year's drivers: Spaniard Fernando Alonso, seconded by Brazilian Felipe Massa. Hopefully, Ferrari will get its mojo back in 2013.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
