The first part of the following decade is set to see Ferrari releasing the first SUV in the history of the company. And, as we approach the release of the high-riding Maranello machine and the level of enthusiasm goes through the roof, the Internet replies with all sorts of renderings that try to portray the future model.
Last time we discussed the matter, our eyes were treated to a piece of work that showcased the SUV using the most evolution of the Prancing Horse design language (think: Roma).
This time around though, it looks like we're dealing with a bit of a trolling move (pixel tip to Carlifestyle for this image). And that's because the design sitting before us appears to be based on the Lamborghini Urus concept - you'll be able to notice the Raging Bull in the image gallery above.
The side windows are the ones that showcase the connection perfectly, while the rest of the vehicle has received extensive modifications. For instance, the side of the car has been redefined using multiple lines, while the wheels showcase the typical Fezza styling.
Moving over to the posterior of the contraption, we find a mix of Ferrari elements, from the exhaust tips to the headlights, albeit with the latter appearing quite small.
Unlike the Urus, which relies on a shared platform that had to be adapted for velocity purposes, the Purosangue is set to receive a platform designed for hooning from the get-go - this should be shared with the automaker's future Grand Tourers.
The firepower is expected to come from a hybridized twin-turbo V6, while a naturally aspirated V12, also featuring electric assistance, should come as an option. And while a twin-turbo V8, with or without a certain degree of electrification, is obviously possible, the said two powerplants might suffice.
And yes, given the dedicated platform, the driving experience expectations for the upcoming high-rider are sky-high.
