To show just how much technology has changed over the years, Ferrari has releases a video in which it pits the car from your childhood bedroom wall, the F40 supercar, and its aging 599 GTB grand tourer.
The video is more of a “what if” sort of fictional scenario, but it very much shows how good a modern Maranello marvel can be, despite not being built just to go fast, but also to provide plenty of comfort and refinement.
Their duel for the crown has a lovely backdrop of canyons and deserted strips of asphalt perfection, so the entertainment value is very high. It’s basically like the very first Need for Speed games, before the time of silly tuning: any car, any age, any continent.
