Ferrari Offers Free Roadside Assistance for All Cars

Near perfect machines (in terms of performance at least) as they are, Ferraris are not exempt from some type or another of mechanical failure. Especially if your Ferrari is not exactly the latest model produced and the warranty you had for it is now but a distant memory.

The Italian manufacturer announced yesterday it will provide the "With You" roadside assistance service to "owners of all Prancing Horse cars built since 1947 and not covered by either existing factory or POWER warranties."

The new warranty provides Ferrari customers with 12 months of roadside assistance and over for expenses involved in returning home or reaching the Ferrari Authorized Service Centre to which their car has been taken.

"The new service is free of charge and is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. It can be activated immediately for Italian clients but will also be extended to other European markets in the near future, starting with Great Britain. To activate cover in Italy, owners need only contact the Ferrari Client Service number – 800080202," the manufacturer said in a release.

The "With You" program joins the existing warranties provided by Ferrari. All authorized Ferrari dealerships and service centers offer extended warranty cover for cars up to 10 years from the date of their first registration (the so called "Power" program) as well as the Ferrari "Approved" program, which offers warranty cover for all used Ferraris, 10-year old or less.

Although we find Ferrari's endeavor commending, we wish you never need it. After all, who wants to own a 100,000+ euro faulty vehicle?
