Ferrari LaFerrari Crash in Hungary Is Painful to Watch

When it comes to performance cars with more horsepower and torque than 10 regular hatchbacks combined, chances are the owner's bank balance overshadows his or her driving skills. This general rule applies to the latest Ferrari LaFerrari crash, brought to you on video by GsmVonal. If you don't have the heart for it, don't press play. Just DON'T!

Here at autoevolution, we're no strangers to the realm of YouTube videos featuring supercar drivers with more money than skill. Or sense. Or maybe both. On this occasion, it's easy to understand that this LaFerrari owner doesn't have both. The sheer stupidity of this hypercar crash beggars belief from us, people that love fast machines and spirited driving.

As you can see in the video below, the owner of this Ferrari LaFerrari lost his temper with the slow-moving hatchback hogging the outside lane of a street in Budapest, Hungary. As such, the man didn't resort to honking his Italian masterpiece's horn or flashing the high beams, like normal drivers. Instead, the LaFerrari driver downshifted while he was merging on the middle lane, put his foot hard on the throttle and the torque made this baby dance out of control.

Even though he did manage to keep away from the cars on the outer and inner lanes, the LaFerrari driver couldn't avoid shoving his Prancing Horse into three other cars parked on the pavement. Happily, however, nobody was injured, except the driver's pride. Immediately after the crash, the man jumped out of the car and removed the license plates for reasons that might have something to do with humiliation on the Internet. Here's an interesting detail: the car isn't registered in Hungary, but in neighboring Slovakia.

At the end of the day, the fourth crash we know of involving the LaFerrari can be boiled down to "butter-fingered driver." Every proper enthusiast knows that a hybrid hypercar delivers a bucketload of torque at the touch of the loud pedal, yet this guy apparently doesn't know how to handle the torque delivery.

On an ending note, the road doesn't appear to be clean enough for the LaFerari's bespoke Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires. And then again, the temperature that day in Budapest was 10 degrees Celsius or so, which is far too cold compared to the Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires’ optimum operating temperature.
