Ferrari Hot Hatch Based on Alfa Romeo Rendered as Compact Maranello Won't Build

Ferrari is currently in the midst of an expansion that is taking the Prancing Horse to territories that were denied in the past. We are mainly referring to the upcoming SUV, but also to the expanded range of hybrids. However, there are also segments that Maranello won't rush to enter and the hot hatchback market is one of them.
Of course, this doesn't stop the dreamers out there to envision a Ferrari compact. And here we are, bringing you a rendering of such a machine.

The pixel play we have here, which comes from digital label J.B. Cars, features an Alfa Romeo Giulietta whose posterior borrows plenty of Ferrari elements.

Then again, the hottest Alfa compact around, namely the Giulietta Quadrifoglio, still only delivers 240 horsepower... to the front wheels, which means the tech side of the thing is in no way suitable of the Prancing Horse badge.

Now, you should know that the ways of the render realm are complex. For instance, in the virtual world, the competition for the small Fezza we have here is alive and kicking.

This comes in the form of the Lamborghini hot hatch we showcased earlier this month. Based on the Audi RS3, the compact Raging Bull would pack well in excess of 400 horsepower and, of course, give our Fezza a run for its money.

We are, of course, glad that the two Italian marques don't turn to this kind of badge engineering, since it would cause nothing but trouble.

For instance, last time the world was offered such a trick, we ended up with the Cygnet. And since the thing was basically a rebadged Toyota IQ, we received an Aston Martin with a two-digit power figure.

Then again, we wouldn't mind seeing something like the Cygnet V8 the British carmaker introduced this year to make up for the said mistake. The one-off we're talking about had borrowed the hear of the V8 Vantage, allowing its driver to play with 430 ponies, all in a wonderful naturally aspirated package.

My latest edit, a Ferrari hatchback concept..this would be based on the Giulietta, just a bit of fun but what could it's name be?! @ Want an edit on you car, DM me. #AlfaRomeo #Giulietta #AlfaRomeoGiulietta #I4 #Hatchback #940 #Ferrari #HotHatch #FerrariHatchback #GTC4 #GTC #GTC4Lusso #488 #GTB #Ferrari488 #Pista #812 #Superfast #Ferrari812 #SF #Portofino #FerrariPortofino #F12 #FerrariF12 #458 #QV #CarThrottle #Concept #Render
