Ferrari HGTE Package Now Available Inside

Ferrari's new Handling Gran Turismo Evoluzione (HGTE) Package, which debuted on the 599 GTB Fiorano, has now been made available as a Ferrari Genuine Accessories package and comes with two options, depending on the customer's requirements and the age of the vehicle. The package for fitting the kit on cars built before 2008 stands at £17,213, while for cars built after 2008, the price for fitting starts at £19,703.

Both packages include Handling, Exhaust and Aesthetic kits. The final price of the kits will vary, says Ferrari, depending on the options chosen by the customer. The kits are detailed below:

Handling
  • Lower suspension (10mm)
  • New magnetorheologically controlled suspension calibration for the Manettino SPORT and RACE configurations
  • More rigid suspension springs (front + 17%, rear + 15%)
  • More rigid rear anti-roll bars (diameter increased to 25mm)
  • HGTE specific tyres with improved compound (8% more grip)
  • 3-piece modular rims with reduced weight (forged spokes) and special new design

Performance (available only for post 2008 cars)
  • New exhausts silencers with two-tone finish tailpipes
  • Enhanced F1 gearshift actuation, with response times reduced to 85ms
  • New accelerator logic with modified mapping for improved throttle response
Exhaust
  • New exhausts silencers with two-tone finish tailpipes

Aesthetics
  • New design front grille with a special chromatic treatment
  • Burnished finish to Prancing Horse symbols on the front grill and rear boot lid

As if the package itself is not enough to convince us it's worth it, Ferrari has released a video of a 599 GTB Fiorano boasting the HGTE package, while speeding through a breathtaking UK scenery.
