The LaFerrari may be the best model manufactured by the Prancing Horse nowadays, but its predecessor was also a pretty wild machine. But those special kind of customers that were not impressed by the Enzo (F60) had an option to quench their go-faster thirst – the track day special known as the FXX.
Only 30 units of these bad boys were made. So when you're offered the chance to buy one in immaculate condition, you bet it won't be cheap. The FXX Evoluzione we've tracked down is currently in the inventory of Ferrari of Fort Lauderdale, a dealer located in Florida. So what can you expect from a 9-year-old hypercar worth $2.19 million?

Boasting a beautiful Rosso Scuderia red exterior hue over Alcantara Nera, serial number 146359 is one of the few lucky FXX's kitted with the Evoluzione pack. Only the package is worth $300,000, and for that kind of money, the output was hiked from 789 horsepower to a scary 860 all-Italian ponies. Moreover, the partner of the 6.3-liter V12 mill has also been improved. The F1-style box's shift times have been reduced to only 60 milliseconds, while downforce is 25 percent better than on the normal FXX.

However, be advised before you buy this manic Prancing Horse. The FXX Evoluzione isn't the type of Ferrari you can just hop in and go to the coolest party in town. This Ferrari has been designed to be a vicious track machine, so it's not street legal. For that you can get more mundane models such as the 458 Speciale or the F12 Berlinetta. This is the reason why a vehicle title, Carfax report and CPO Certification are not available for a vehicle such as the FXX, but who cares? It's one awesome and rare ride!
