For this year’s usual annual Ferrari event at the Madonna di Campiglio ski resort in Italy, the Prancing Horse did something a bit different, since it had a new AWD four-seater car on its hands. That might seem strange at first, but the FF was actually built because customers of the Italian brand were fed up with not being able to take their Ferraris to the ski resorts.
But the two Formula One stars of Ferrari, Felipe Massa and Fernando Alonso, proved you can now do that in total safety, since they took part in an event that pitted to FFs against each other on a slalom skiing course.
The drivers raced downhill, between ski gates, powered along by a concert of 660 hp. "It's incredible how easy it is to drive the FF even on a such a demanding surface and at the same time, how high a performance level you can reach in it," said Alonso enthusiastically.
