With the Ferrari FF having now starting to age, owners are faced with an important question - what can one do to keep the family Fezza looking fresh? Well, the aficionado who drives this FF has come up with an interesting plan, dressing his Fezza up as a police car.
Now, while a Ferrari 458 Spider has been used by the Polizia Locale di Milano, this FF uses the Polizia di Stato livery featured on the Lamborghini Gallardo and Huracan that have served the authorities.
Then again, I have to admit that the shade of blue dominating the said color scheme seems to suit the generous real estate of the FF rather well.
During a recent shoot with Wrap Zone, the specialist who handled the second skin job of the V12 machine, the Italian machine was gifted with blue light, which made the whole thing more realistic.
Of course, (at least some of) the light were removed for street use, since they are illegal. Speaking of which, this is a Ferrari impersonating an Itallian police car, but the legal matters are probably covered by the fact that the FF spends its time over in Sweden.
However, as you'll get to notice in one of the social media posts below, it's not like the Ferrari FF Polizia hasn't drawn the attention of Swedish cops, albeit with these being the kind of famous policemen whose Instagram is hungry for such encounters (the officers were tagged in the post, so you can go deeper down this rabbit hole).
Returning to the point made in the intro, there are areas where the FF outshines the GTC4Lusso that came to replace it. For instance, at least when comparing the V12 version of the latter (you know, the one that doesn't use a turbocharged V8 to power the rear axle alone) to the FF, it's safe to say that the milder setup of the Lusso hasn't managed to please everybody.
