Ferrari FF and Lamborghini Aventador Sold Out for 2011

If you were planning to treat yourself this year with a brand new super car (and God knows, there's plenty to choose from this year), then you might have to trim the list of choices available to you by at least two names. Because, by the looks of it, there's no chance in freezing hell you'll be able to buy a Ferrari FF or a new Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 in 2011.

According to autoblog.it, the two models are already sold out for the year, mostly because of the stunning way in which the two models presented themselves at the Geneva Auto Show. The FF, for instance, received such a positive feedback, despite the fact that most consider it to be a compromise of the Prancing Horse, that Luca di Montezemolo confirmed the selling of all the 800 units planned for this year.

The four-seater Ferrari features a mid-front mounted V12 engine, coupled to a seven-speed F1 dual-clutch gearbox. The car develops 660 hp at 8,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 683 Nm at 6,000 rpm. The super car sprints from 0-100 km/h in 3.7 seconds and tops at a speed of 335 km/h (208 mph).

The Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4, the other stunning super car from Geneva, is also sold out. An equal number of orders as with the FF have been placed for the replacement of the Murcielago.

This model comes equipped with a 6.5l V12 engine coupled to a Graziano ISR 7-speed automatic transmission and develops 700 horsepower and 690 Nm of torque. The performance figures translate into a naught to sixty acceleration time of 2.9 seconds and a top speed of 217 mph (350 Km/h).
