Ferrari F40 - Excellent Sound at Spa

When the Ferrari F40 first came out, back in 1987, it was the fastest car in the world. It reached a top speed of 324 km/h (201.4 mph) and it became the benchmark for all supercars that followed it.
Reaching 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 3.8 seconds, the car made full use of its twin-turbocharged V8 and 478 hp to propel its 1,100 kg (2,425 lb) body along, with acceleration numbers which would even put some modern supercars to shame. Two F40s were recently spotted going flat out around Belgium’s most famous racing track, Spa Francochamps, a true spectacle to behold.

Aside from propelling the car forward very quickly, the engine has the additional merit of an excellent sound note. It is a commonly known fact that turbochargers change and reduce engine noise, but in the case of the F40, the car still sounds like a proper Ferrari, with a small hint of turbo whistle - they were turbocharging in the 80s and, now, they’re doing it again.
