Ferrari F2002 Winning Engine Up for Grabs!

Any Formula One racing, racing cars and Michael Schumacher fans that have some 55,000 euros or approx. $70,000 stashed in their bank accounts or under the mattress will be glad to hear they now have the opportunity to own a piece of F1 history: the very winning engine F2002 which brought Scuderia Ferrari the 4th Manufacturer title and Schumacher the 5th Pilot Title.

According to the description on the Ferrari store, the engine consists of parts of the original booster of the F2002. The engine, which is available on a red base unit, is considered to have played a key role in the the 2002 season, when Ferrari accounted 15 victories out of 17 races.

“The engine was the result of a long-lasting accurate processing of a special steel block, highly resistant, moulded thanks to modern technologies improving its features. The engine, as the other car parts, is manufactured in a limited serial number after a long and careful study based on preliminary analysis and design,”
the description reads.

“The attention paid to each single detail lead to the production of a perfect part, which Ferrari Sport Management depends on high quality and sophisticated technology for as well as on expert manufacturing techniques.”
