Russians love the BMW M4 and they have plenty of reasons to do so. From the docile character it shows when used as a daily driver to its visceral side that emerges when you put your foot down, this BMW M is a nothing short of a riot.

And since BMW's M division has left natural aspiration behind, the M4 also has a strong tuning potential. Russian tuner KK Performance has taken full advantage of the turbocharged 3.0-liter straight-six under the hood of the M4, with the resulting product proving its potential during a recent drag racing event.

To be more precise, the tuner dialed the M4 all the way to 700 horses - when your car packs a "Stage Three-Plus" kit, you know things are going to be wild.

The 700-pony M4 lines up next to Ferrari's 740 hp F12berlinetta at the Unlimited 500 event, with the two engaging in a quarter mile brawl. Oh, and by the way, you shouldn't let the 40 hp advantage of the Prancing Horse trick you, as the Bimmer dominates the Maranello machine in terms of the maximum twist.

We don't know the exact peak torque figure of this M4, but, with the "standard" engine delivering 40 lb-ft (550 Nm), it's safe to expect the pumped-up version to one-up the V12 Ferrari's 509 lb-ft (690 Nm). Mind you, the F12berlinetta was wearing Mickey Thompson's street-to-strip rubber.

Sure, at the end of the day, a Ferrari is a Ferrari, while the machine it raced remains a tuned BMW. But watching the two battling it out is quite an adventure and we're inviting you to hit the "play" button below.

P.S.: In case you're wondering about other BMW M4 adventures that take place in Russia, we'll show you one such stunt that sits on the other side of the law, namely a drifting episode on the streets of Moscow.
