Ferrari F12 Berlinetta Pebble Beach Unveiling

We’ve already gotten up close and personal with Ferrari’s replacement for the 599 when it was unveiled to the general public at the Geneva Motor Show in March. Now the car has been unveiled to the US public of the first time in front of a crowd gathered on the Monterey grass at Pebble Beach this weekend.
The F12 Berlinetta is a technological masterpiece and also a true beauty. Form meets function, as air ducts, scoops and front blades al work towards making this a fast car.

The spaceframe of the car is built using 12 different aluminum alloys. Ferrari chose not to use too much carbon fiber in order to keep costs from skyrocketing.

Power comes from a brand new Italian V12 that puts out 740 PS, more than the Lamborghini Aventador. This is enough for a 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) time of just 3.1 seconds and a top speed that exceeds 211 mph (340 km/h).

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
