Ferrari Enzo vs. Speed Bump

Speed bumps are one of the greatest compromises we make in transportation: while these are necessary for safety reasons, they do threaten machines that were not designed to handle such rugged parts of the road and we are referring to our beloved supercars here.
Fortunately, certain automotive producers gift their cars with nose lift systems and we’ve brought you a video that shows just how useful such a feature, which is also popular among tuning companies, is.

The clip, which was uploaded by Youtube user CarandCoffeeIrvine, shows a Ferrari Enzo tackling a pretty massive speed bump. At first, it seems like the vehicle is going to shave its nose ot its underbody, but the driver activates the factory nose lift system, takes things easy and gets out of the unpleasant situation.

In case you were wondering, the Enzo’s nose sits at 3.9 inches (9.9 cm) from the road, while the aforementioned system raises that by 1.4 inches (3.55 cm).
