Ferrari Drag Races Volvo... Truck

What do people usually do during the summer? Take a vacation, a swim in the ocean, maybe sunbath and things like this. What do automotive enthusiasts do during the hot season? Well, Boije Overbrink, a gearhead in Sweden, who just happens to be a motorsport icon in the country, climbed aboard his Volvo truck, went to a drag strip and challenged a... Ferrari.
OK, we might have to mention that we’re not talking about any Volvo diesel workhorse. In fact, it’s not even entirely diesel, as the truck, which is called Mean Green, uses a hybrid powertrain comprise of a 1,900 hp 16-liter twin-turbocharged oil burner and a 200 hp electric motor.

The race didn’t go according to neither driver’s plan and the end did bring a surprise. But we think that its better to leave you enjoy the crazy drag race yourselves....
