Ferrari California Test Drive Crash: Water Landing

Being a Ferrari salesman has its benefits, both from the financial and emotional point of view, but it definitely also brings major drawbacks. Imagine that you’re out on a test drive with a customer who wants to buy a car and the man floors the throttle, looses it, the car jumps into the air and lands in a bay.

Now stop imagining and take a good look at the adjacent photo, which shows the aftermath of an event just like the one we’ve described. The crash that left the white Ferrari California you see in the photo swimming in a bay north of San Francisco happened during a test drive that took place on Saturday afternoon.

The vehicle was being tested by a customer who lost control due to excessive speed, flew into the air and landed in the Richardson Bay. We don’t know if the man is actually going to financially please the salesman by buying the car (or another one), but we think that the latter is having a chat with himself on the dangers of his profession.
