Ferrari 599 Replacement Spy Video

Ferrari vehicles have something special that makes them stay in our hearts long after their replacements have arrived on the market. This can also be noticed if you analyze the tuning world, where aftermarket companies still release modification packages for the F430. This special aura means that, even though we like certain Ferrari models very much, we musn’t be sad when these exit the production stage.

We’ve wrote this introduction in order to prepare you for the idea that the day when the Ferrari 599 will be put to sleep isn’t too far away. And if the aforementioned explanation isn’t enough to keep you out of the sad zone, here’s another reason to jump for joy: the Prancing Horse is already testing the replacement of the 599, a vehicle that uses the F152 codename.

The vehicle was spied by Marchetinno while its was flexing its muscles on the Fiorano track in Italy. You can enjoy two minutes and 52 seconds of F152 action below. As usual, one of the best parts is the soundtrack, which manages to take you into another world.

The car you see here is a test mule based on the 599 GTO, which comes with multiple new elements, such as redesigned headlights that use LED technology, a new exhaust, a new diffuser and others. However, the true novelties are hidden under the vehicle’s body.

The 599’s replacement should reach our planet sometime during 2012. The vehicle could bring important changes to the Italian carmaker’s range, as Ferrari could offer a hybrid version.
