The current trend in supercar crashes seems to involve Ferraris that are involved in rather violent accidents on the German Autobhan. Yesterday we brought you a 458 that had lost a wheel in a crash and today it’s time to move to the big V12 boys’ league, as a Ferrari 599 GTO was totaled in Munich.
The 599 GTO was travelling on the A8 highway in the proximity of Munich when the driver, aged 61, lost control of the machine. The supercar was carrying quite a lot of speed and it started spinning, ending up on the side of the road.
In the process, the Ferrari plowed through some vegetation, also encountering rough terrain, so it sustained severe damage. Thus, the supercar is a write-off. Fortunately, its owner was much more lucky, having survived the crash without injuries.
