Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano HGTE China Edition...

China is currently the fastest growing market in the world and promises to be the biggest in the near future. So why not customize an Italian sportscar just for the Chinese? Italian manufacturer Ferrari saw the importance of this market and announced that a limited edition of its 599 GTB Fiorano HGTE model will be released for the Chinese market, developed in partnership with the renowned Chinese artist Lu Hao.

The special (and limited) edition models come in a two-tone color scheme, featuring a special Rosso Fuoco ("fire red") body color mated to a grey roof. Just as expected, the design features plenty of Chinese elements made by artist Lu Hao and inspired by Ge Kiln porcelain, as well as a dedicated luggage for the trunk inscribed with the route of the Silk Road.

Hao also uses an ancient Chinese script called "Xiao Zhuan" to engrave a name plaque for each edition as well as throughout the car, such as on the engine start button and the rev counter.

Furthermore, the ignition button of the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano HGTE China is made using jade from a renowned Italian jeweler and inscribed with the Chinese characters for "Engine Start" in Xiao Zhuan script.

Just as expected, the HGTE (Handling Grand Turismo Evoluzione) had also been added, while the car is powered by a 6.0 liter V12 engine that develops 620 hp and 608 Nm of torque that boosts the Italian supercar from naught to sixty in just 3.7 seconds. The top speed of the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano HGTE China is reportedly above 330km/h.
