Some like to see the mountains with a tent on their back, while others prefer to check out the view through the side window of a supercar. And while the latter usually aplies to passengers, the drivers of the Ferrari 488 Pista and Porsche 911 GT3 RS we have here also qualify.
You see, these hooning addicts sometimes spend more time looking at the road trough the side window than the windshield, simply because they have the drifting virus.

The Italian exotic and the Rennsport Neunelfer, a 991.2 model, took to a mountainous road, following each other while sideways - this is pretty much as close as things get to a pro drift battle when it comes to supercars buking it out on the streets, so yes, the term "battle" is a little loose here.

Nevertheless, thanks to the piece of footage at the bottom of the page, we get to see the two machines delivering sweet slip angles. Keep in mind that these modern beasts were built to deliver plenty of grip.

In fact, both the 488 Pista and the Porsche 911 GT3 RS have their quirks when it comes to being used as sliding machines. Allow me to elaborate.

For one thing, the fact that the Porscha has its engine at the back means that it might be a little reluctant to getting sideways at first, but it can hold on to the slide for longer than intended once it's dancing - this even seems to happen in the adventure we have here. Nevertheless, given the uphill take and the limited speed, we can't talk about an issue.

As for the Fezza, well, the 720 horsepower toy might have boost-by-gear, by it can't entirely eliminate turbo lag, which means the one behind the wheel has to be extremely careful when steering with the pedal on the right.
