Ferrari 488 Pista Rendered as GTC Four-Seater, Looks So Desirable

Remember the days when aficionados had to wait for months before an artist's wacky rendering of an impossible model would show up in a magazine? Well, those times are way behind us and the Internet is more than willing to quench our thirst for such crazy machines. Case in point with the Ferrari that brought us here.

This Prancing Horse mixes the nose of the 488 Pista with the body of the GTC4Lusso for what is, at least in my book, a spectacular effect.

Sure, the replacement for the FF already comes in two flavors, mixing a V12 with all-paw traction or a V8 with just the rear axle, but this puppy is something else.

On one hand, one would wonder why the GTC4Lusso, which obviously must cater to the needs of more than just one, would need the extreme tune that should come with that Pista nose.

Then again, the kind of builds we see these days have proven that the rational side is not always the one that wins. For instance (I'll try to stick to Italy's motor valley here), here's a Lamborghini Espada that had been given a hot rod conversion.

Heck, the pixel play we have here isn't even close to the craziest I've featured. And while it's hard to nominate just one virtual build, this F40, which has been completely remastered, V12 and all, is certainly a worthy candidate.

And while we're talking about the Ferrari 488 Pista, let's take a bit of time to remember the overly extrovert configurations that show up these days.

You see, with the deliveries approaching the final phase, the time has come from the standout specs to appear. So whether you're looking for a matte factory shade or would rather check out this polarizing shade of green, there's something for you in this Maranello realm.
