Ferrari 488 Pista Drag Races McLaren 720S on Autobahn, Destruction Follows

No, the mid-engined delights haven't been taken to the drag strip (Maranello would probably have a strong reaction to such a feat), but we've got the next best thing.

To be more precise, the Italian exotic and the Woking beast got together on the German Autobahn. So, without any top speed restriction, the drivers set out to see which of the two mid-engined toys can reach the horizon first.

Thanks to the piece of footage below, you'll be able to witness this twin-twin-turbo V8 adventure. We're talking about rolling starts, with these taking place in second or third gear.

However, since it can be difficult to get an even takeoff on the street, the two went at it on multiple occasions.
