It's enough to think of Enzo's strict attitude to imagine where Ferrari stands when it comes to tuners playing with its cars. Ironically, though, with Maranello having now switched to turbocharging, the aftermarket developers have considerably more room to play than before.
Since the Italian automaker couldn''t simply ignore forced induction over the connection to the tuning world, we'll move on to offering you the latest example of a custom Prancing Horse. This comes from the piece of footage at the bottom of the page. In fact, this is more of a dragon than a cavalry weapon if we consider its fiery breath.

We're dealing with a 488 GTB that has received tuning attention from Fabspeed Motorsport, with the Pennsylvania-based developer working on the supercar's exhaust.

For now, the company is still in the development phase, with the clip below showing us what happens when such a Fezza is strapped to a dyno. And with the specialist working on the exhaust, the 488 has lost its rear bumper for access purposes. As a result, we get a tech-fetishy view of the Ferrari 488 GTB's engine compartment.

Zooming in on the custom exhaust of the 488, we find an X-Pipe exhaust, along with a cat-bypass setup, one that's not exactly street-legal. When these two goodies come together, the voice of the Ferrari becomes nothing short of intimidating, so the flames mentioned above are only a part of the experience.

OK, but what about the performance boost?

Since the system hasn't been released yet, we can't talk about figures yet. Nevertheless, the tuner claims the supercar "picked up significant horsepower and torque thanks to the free flowing exhaust upgrades,"

The company promises to return with more details on this flaming matter, which means we should... hear from this 488 GTB soon. Meanwhile, we're inviting you to hit the "play" button bellow and let the Rosso Corsa devil entertain you.
