By now, anybody with interest in muscle cars is well aware of what the Dodge Challenger SRT Demon can do when thrown at the drag strip. Then again, it's always entertaining to check out the Mopar king at work, which is why we constantly keep an eye out for drag racing adventures involving the Dodge halo car.
Well, the latest Dodge Demon adventure of the sort sees the muscle beast duking it out with various European missiles.
We're talking about a modded Audi RS3 (these can be much quicker than expected), and and Audi RS7, but the one that really put on a show is a Ferrari 488.
The encounters took place during the recent Audi vs. The World event, which took place at the Houston Dragway.
With the 840 horsepower Dodge we have here being wielded by YouTuber Demonology, the whole thing was caught on camera.
We'll remind those of you who aren't familiar with the drag racing realm that the Elapsed Time is the one that wins the race. Now, the piece of footage at the bottom of the page, which documents the said battles, does allow us to notice that the Demon delivered a 10.45s quarter-mile run while battling the Ferrari, but we don't get to see the ET of the Prancing Horse - when hooned properly, the 670 horsepower Italian exotic is a mid-10s car.
Nevertheless, thanks to the reaction time of the Dodge drivers, the Demon left the Prancing Horse far, far behind. And the fact that the uber-Challenger could pull a burnout and warm up its rear drag radials also helped (the dual-clutch setup of the Fezza means a burnout was out of the question).
Note that the battled between the supercharged HEMI monster and the Italian exotic awaits you at the 13:54 point of the clip. Then there's the fight involving the Dodge Demon and a 605 horsepower Audi RS7 Performance, which you can find at the at the 15:44 point. Oh, and let's not forget the drag race against the Stage III RS3 Sedan, which sits at the 10:27 point.
