There are probably as many Ferrari in London as there are in Maranello. I don’t think that’s because the Londoners just can’t get enough prancing horses on their streets, more because people from the Emirates are bringing them over, but that doesn’t really matter.
After the official debut in Frankfurt, the latest Ferrari model has finally arrived in Britain. No, not the 963 PS LaFerrari. That’s just for people who are showing off. It’s the 458 Speciale, which made its debut during a private unveiling event.

You guys know the drill, don’t you. Every generation of V8 supercar they’ve made needs a track version. It’s like a Porsche 911 GT3 only with even more expensive options and a transparent engine cover. Yet you’ll see most of them in the city, parked in front of Dolce or Harrods.

So what’s it like, this Italia on a diet? Well, the front is kind of ugly, but we’ll find out what it’s like to drive as soon as we can. Test drive scout’s honor, promise!

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
