Yesterday, we talked about the Ferrari Cavalcade 2014, an event that market the debut of the F12 TRS one-off, a Prancing Horse expected to cost US$ 4.2 million (EUR 3.09 million). As it turns out, the Ferrari driving event also brought a less fortunate event and we’re talking about a 458 Speciale crash.
The accident took place in Sicily, an autonomous region of Italy, which comes in the form of the largest island in the Mediteranean Sea. The area is well known for its narrow streets and this appears to have shown in the case of this crash.

The 458 Speciale crashed into a parked car and, despite this reportedly being a minor impact that is far from having rendered the supercar undrivable, its consequences are clearly visible. You can clearly see the aftermath in the adjacent images, which come from GUMB4LL3OOO Photography.

The passenger’s side door mirror was hit, while the front rim, wing and apron were also affected. In addition, the side airbags in the Ferrari were deployed.

As for the other vehicle, this is a first-generation Ford Ka, a typical affordable small car used in Sicily. A large portion of its driver’s side was damaged in the accident, but it all seems to be superficial.

It’s interesting how the Ferrari 458 Speciale crashes seem to have an attraction for small cars. We’ll remind you that last time we talked about such an accident, a 458 Speciale and a first-generation smart fortwo collided. The crash took place back in February, in Berlin, Germany and, unfortunately, was a more serious business.
