With 605 hp and a new track-focused look, the 458 Speciale is most admired racing horse in the Ferrari stable right now. But who says you can't get the same looks and implicitly the admiration with an older model 458 Italia, or better yet, on a 458 Spider which Ferrari doesn't want to make "special".
German tuner DMC unveiled the perfect body kit to help 458 Italia owners transform their cars last month. It's called the "Monte Carlo", after the famous European mecca of the rich and famous, and it's been available for a month.

As if that wasn't enough, DMC now offers an even better kit, the "MCC Edition" (short for Monte Carlo Carbon, made with carbon fiber body parts such as the front bumper winglets, side skirt blades and fender vents. The visual impact is exaggerated by blacked out headlights and racing stripes down the middle of the car.

The installation is easy and non-intrusive, with DMC's aftermarket components built to fit onto factory mounting points. If you have deep enough pockets, they can also change the stance of the 458 and swap the wheels for 21-inch front and 22-inch rear forged alloy rims.

These are still early times for the "Monte Carlo". DMC is sure to come up with an engine upgrade to scare the living daylights out of the McLaren MP4 and a new rear valence, which is still unmodified.
