The vehicle is even fitted with a sophisticated driving assistance system that offers multiple levels of control.
However, there will always be drivers who like to push the 458 to the limit. And this is a good thing, if it is done under the safe wing of a race track and backed by a proper level of driving skill.
Well, the video bellow shows what can happen when the aforementioned conditions are not met. The footage shows a red 458 Italia driving through Maranello, the Pracing Horse’s home town. Then the video shows the vehicle a day after that with a tree integrated in its front axle.
As you can see, the vehicle has suffered an important amount of damage. The engine was not affected, as it is centrally mounted, but the front of the vehicle has been badly hit. The tree has managed to penetrate the structure of the front end up to the place where the right front suspension is mounted on the chassis. This means that not only are the fenders, bumper and hood damaged, but the tech components (such as the front axle) have also been seriously affected.
