Ferrari is celebrating 20 years of existence on the Chinese Market with a very special version of the 458 Italia, of which only 20 will ever be built.
The cool paintjob addition is characterized by unique Chinese elements and is finished in a brand new colour called Marco Polo Red specially developed for this exclusive car which will be presented at the inauguration of the Ferrari Exhibition at the Shanghai Expo Park’s Italian Center, where the Maranello brand will have a permanent exhibition.
The dragon is supposedly a symbol of courage, passion and success. Combine this with the horse, which is Ferrari’s trademark, and you get the longma theme which is an old Chinese idiom which means “the vigor and spirit of the legendary dragon-horse”.
The edition also features unique side skirts and wheels that have been bestowed with a dark gold finish.
All of the 20 cars to be built will have a ‘20th Anniversary Special Edition’ plaque is set into the dash.
