It was only normal for the Ferrari 458 to get an even more muscular version and it is now time to zoom in on the model a bit, as new rumors about it have surfaced on the web.
While the 360 Modena’s similar version wore the Challenge Stradale name and the F430 got the Scuderia moniker, the 458’s go-faster version is expected to receive the Monte Carlo designation.
It seems that the vehicle’s naturally-aspirated V8 engine will be tweaked to deliver a power premium of 50 hp and thus the driver will be able to play with a total of 620 hp. The 458 Monte Carlo won’t just be more powerful, but also lighter and should also come with a few aerodynamic mods.
The launch date for the 458 Monte Carlo remains unknown for the model, but since the standard car was introduced in 2009, we shouldn’t be too far from the first’s release.
