Ferrari 458 "Golden Shark" by Office-K Is Tokyo's Most Awesome Car

As if the Lamborghini Midnight Run wasn't enough, Japan now has a rising community of custom Ferrari fans. And when we say "custom", we mean outrageous and unique. Check out this 458 Spider created by the guys at Office-K and nicknamed the "Golden Shark".

The wrap was probably done in two stages, the first looking like galvanized steel, followed by another layer of transparent gold with a pearl flake to it. The wheels are just as special, Forgiato Aguzzo-M 22-inch rims that have been covered in pink gold (yes, real gold).

But the most stand-out feature is the shark mouth painted on the front end of the Ferrari. It's just like the ones American airmen started painting on their P-40 during the Second World War and it makes the 458 look like a killer.

Considering how much the wheels cost, it's probably a good thing that the graphics scream "danger, get away from me." Normally, we would say the massive carbon fiber wing is a really bad idea, that it destroys the classic look of the supercar. But there's nothing remotely classical left on this 458, so they could have made the wing from gold and we wouldn't care.

The custom gold Ferrari appears to be the twin brother of another Office-K creation we presented a few months ago, the Gallardo Spyder "Morochi's Special". It featured a blue wrap, Tron stripes and a set of Forgiato wheels coated in 24 karat gold.
