However, if you own a mid-engined supercar with a transparent hood and you want it to shout “custom”, you have to do something to the engine bay too, as SR Auto Group showed us how to freshen up a Ferrari 458 down there.
They ditched the dull plastic covers surounding the area and fitted a brand new engine kit from PUR. The pack contains dry carbon fiber replacements for plastic covers and the air filter case of the engine.
It may not seem too much of a transformation, but judging that the exterior was customized with matte blue wrap, you could’t let the ugly plastic show under the glass hood, right?
