First appearing in the first World War, dogfighting was invented shortly after the first airplanes and the fighter planes, subsequently, but since then the sky didn't remain the only canvas on which this form of fighting is being painted on.
In other words, the first automobile races between two or more opponents could also be considered as a form of dogfighting, with some historic circuits probably witnessing thousands of epic fights between some of the world's best drivers.
With that being said, parts of the following video - taken at the Nurburgring Nordschleife by our friends at TouriClips - depict a rather epic dogfight between two AMG Black Series models that are now almost legendary thanks to the engines that power both of them.
In one corner we have a black CLK 63 AMG Black Series, powered by the phenomenal 6.2-liter V8 that is also found under the hood of its younger competitor, a red C 63 AMG Coupe Black Series.
In the CLK Black Series, the M156 naturally-aspirated V8 outputs 507 hp and 630 Nm (465 lb ft) of torque, while in the C 63 AMG Coupe Black Series it manages to deliver 517 hp and 620 Nm (457 lb ft) of torque.
On paper - and not only - the two models are closely matched, and the video below does close to nothing to contradict that, especially since this is more of a friendly chase on the old Nurburgring Nordschleife and not an all-out fight to the finish.
This is the second time that two AMG Black Series models from different eras have been caught toying around on the Green Hell, while the exhilaration that the drivers must feel should be breathtaking.
