For many aficionados out there, unofficial Nurburgring accolades are just as important as the official titles, so when we're talking about the fastest E92 BMW M3 at the Nurburgring, expect things to get overly serious.
The die-hard Green Hell fans among you might know this Bimmer for its sub-7m Nurburgring lap. In case you're not aware of the flying lap, we've added a second video below, which shows the full glory of the adventure.

For the sake of comparison, we'll mention this M3 can go round the Nordschleife as fast as the 750 hp Lamborghini Aventador SV. Interestingly, the ex-gen M3 Coupe hasn't sold its soul to the chronograph god. To be more precise, the heavy mods brought to the M Division machine haven't seen the V8 under the hood going down the forced induction route, with the unit having been pushed to 500 atmospheric horses instead.

The same goes for the weight reduction - while the cabin is flooded with carbon fiber elements, this isn't the kind of 100 percent stripped-out track toy.

Lap times aside, the best part of such a car shines when it gets to compete with another Ring-savvy machine and we're here to show you just that. The devilish M3 recently got to play with a Porsche 911 GT3 RS PDK on the Ring, as you'll be able to see in the first clip below.

This is the 991 GT3 RS we recently showed you pulling some wicked Nurburgring drifting. As we explained back then, the Zuffenhausen machine's driver, whom heavy YouTubers know as Powerslide Lover, was serious when he said his car had been tweaked for lap times instead of going sideways - while a stock GT3 RS PDK is a 7:20 car, you can see the Porscha delivering similar Ring performance to the said M3 in this video.

Oh, and by the way, while the first part of the footage sees the BMW chasing the Porsche with the latter also carrying a passenger, the tables are turned in the second part of the video, albeit with the guy riding shotgun in the Rennsport Neunelfer deciding to quit.
