Did you think that people over at BMW’s M division are machine building machines? If the answer is “yes”, you were wrong - the Bavarian go-fast division is showing us its sensitive side by releasing a Christmas card.
Swiss illustrator Gavin Patterson was asked to draw a Christmas card for BMW. He was told to use a cliche motif and was given a “mobile office” for the job. That mobile office happened to be a 2012 M5: Patterson was riding shotgun while drawing, with the super saloon being manhandled by precision driver Urs Inauen.
